We are releasing a limited number of live CDs recorded at Towersey Festival by Neil Wetherell and mastered by Graeme Rawson of Silver Street Studios. The live album includes early versions of songs we plan to record and release next year as fully produced tracks and will be available at our forthcoming gigs, starting with Pavlov’s Dog, this Saturday 15th October as part of Oxjam Reading Takeover. They will be available for FREE to all mailing list subscribers.
If you're unable to make any of our upcoming gigs and would like your copy, just let us know!
Thank you for again all your continued support,

Summer is nearly upon us and once again we have a busy one planned, with a number of gigs and festival slots to keep us out of trouble. We are particularly excited about playing Towersey Festival again in August. We'll be opening up the Bar Stage, which is organised by the First Thursday Music Club. If you've not heard of them, they hold first-rate monthly music nights in Thame and you can check them out at here.
We'll be making our third appearance at Oakfest in June, a wonderful event and a fantastic alternative to the traditional summer fete at Oakley Primary School in Buckinghamshire. We'll also be on the Bohemian Night Stage for the fourth year running at the Readipop Festival in July (previously Caversham Festival) alongside many of our talented Boho friends, such as Jimmy the Dog, Paula Curtis, Tim Balmford, Greg Mayston, Andy Moir, Phil 'Boff' Morrison and Rob and the Retros.
We have decided to focus on ourselves as an original act for a while, although we are still actively playing and available for covers gigs (see BOOKINGS). Recently we have really enjoyed writing new material and have a number of new songs, such as Afraid of Bliss. We would like to head further in this direction, with a view to recording an album as well as some exciting new possibilities as a trio, so watch this space!
Hopefully see you at a gig soon. And don't forget that you can subscribe to our newsletter so that you can receive the latest info and gig dates here.

As we come closer towards the end of the year, we can now look back and reflect on what's been a very productive and rewarding period for us. The hard work we've put in to produce our first fully produced EP paid off on the night of its launch, which ultimately was probably our most enjoyable gig to date.
A reminder that the EP "Diffusion" can now be purchased here.
It was a great feeling to have so many of our friends and family come down and to finally release what we'd been working on for much of the year. Special thanks to Will Woodward who played percussion for us on the night and for Rob Sowden who ran the sound as well as our support acts; Jodie O'Callaghan, Graham Luke and Luke Paulo & The Grapefruit.
Here is a video of our performance of "Red River" on the night:
After the launch, we went on to have a very busy schedule of festivals, the highlight of which was Towersey Festival in Oxfordshire. This was by far the biggest event we've ever been involved in and it was an opportunity to perform in front of a large new audience and take part in a festival brimming with so much talent. We thank the guys at The First Thursday Music Club who got us on the bill, and as well for giving us the infamous featured slot at their fantastic monthly open-mic night in Thame. We've seen some brilliant names feature in the monthly event over the past couple of years and it's always been on our list of things to do.
The festival season drew to a close, ending with a double performance at this year's Oxjam Reading Takeover. Our slot at Milk Bar was another highlight as we got to play to another big audience and be on a very talented line up, including one of our personal favourites, The August List.
In addition to spending our efforts developing our original music, we also have dedicated a lot of time to establish ourselves as a covers act for various events. This is another area which we hope to take to another level next year as we look to enhance our reputation in this field. Our bookings page can be found here. Our lives now revolve around music more than ever and we'll continue on, trying to balance the two aspects of our musical adventure and see where it takes us.
While the gigging has certainly eased off of late, we're now spending this downtime focusing on new original material for the future. Long song writing sessions as well as revisiting older songs which have been untouched for years, with a view to continue to establish our own sound. It's been a very eventful year for us musically and we're very happy and proud of what we've achieved so far. Thank you to everyone who's helped us along the way.
Enjoy the festive season and catch you at a gig sometime very soon!
All the best,
Helen & Raji

We're now less than a week away from the Launch Party of our Diffusion EP, which will be on Saturday 22nd August at Marilyn's Loft Bar, Monroe's, Reading, RG1 2LG.
We're very excited about finally unveiling the result of our hard work this year and looking forward to celebrating it on an evening where we hope to see friends and family who have been there through various stages of our existence! We're also really looking forward to watching performances from some of our closest friends and Reading's finest musicians.
We'll be going back to where it all began, as Monroe's, Reading is the old home to Rob Sowden's Bohemian Night open-mic where we first played together live. Rob will also very kindly be taking care of the sound for the night, so all in all a very nostalgic evening for us.
Here's a reminder of the performers and timings on the night:
Doors - 7.30 pm
The Facebook event for the launch party can be found here. We've written a short message there about each of our performers as well as our producer, Graeme Rawson to whom we thank very much for all his efforts!
We've also managed to find time to shoot our first music video! The video, which was filmed in various spots around Cemetery Junction, Reading includes some shots from one of our live gigs from The Abbot Cook. It all took place in the space of a day where we sandwiched in the bulk of the filming in between a festival appearance and 2 hour covers gig...perhaps unwise! The video was filmed and edited by Jess Conroy of JCMC Music and we're really grateful to her for getting everything completed in a very high quality and timely manner. Check out her website at:
You can watch the video to "Going Down," our single off the EP here:
The mp3 is available here:
The EP may be taking up the bulk of our time and attention right now but we're also very much looking forward to the latter stages of our summer festival adventures. We're also thrilled that the fantastic First Thursday Music Club open-mic night in Thame have asked us to be the featured act for September. Here's where you can catch us live on our mini "EP Tour," in the two weeks after our launch:
Hope to catch you at one of our upcoming gigs.
All the best,
Helen & Raji

We have been very busy gigging of late. On Friday we supported the extremely talented Area 52 at The Prince of Wales in Tilehurst and then on Saturday we had a fantastic time playing at Foxfest in Theale before making our way to the Abbot Cook in Reading for our evening performance.
Many thanks to those who have come to support us recently and if you haven't had a chance to catch us yet this summer, here is a list of links for all of our remaining festival dates this year.
In other exciting news, we have confirmed our Diffusion EP launch party for 22nd August at Marilyn's Loft Bar, Monroe's in St Mary's Butts, Reading, RG1 2LG.
Monroe's is a special place for us as it was at Rob Sowden's Bohemian Night open-mic there where we met and also first played live together, so it's great that we're getting to celebrate the release of our first fully produced CD there.
All round the night promises to be brilliant as we also have support from some of Reading's finest songwriters and acoustic acts:
Rob Sowden is also the engineer for the evening so we're guaranteed an excellent sound. We can't wait.
The Facebook event for the launch party can be found here.
Hopefully we'll catch you at a live show soon.
All the best,
Helen and Raji
